We're Hiring: Executive Chef for Boutique Café (Sharjah)
We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Executive Chef to lead a compact kitchen team (2-person setup) in our modern, Moroccan-inspired café located in Sharjah. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about café-style food, creative under constraints, and highly efficient in a small kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead menu execution: all-day breakfasts, light meals, baked goods, and salads
Operate within a limited equipment setup (Alto-Shaam Vector oven as the main cooking unit)
Oversee food prep, quality control, and plating
Collaborate on menu engineering and seasonal specials
Maintain kitchen hygiene and food cost control
Guide and coordinate with 1 commis chef
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in cafés or bistros (Middle East experience preferred)
Strong knowledge Mediterranean-European cuisine
Excellent kitchen management skills, able to multitask under pressure
Creative, clean, and detail-oriented
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Employment Terms:
Full-time position in Sharjah
