We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at the mart. As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate cash drawers, and providing excellent service to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist with inquiries
Scan items and process payments accurately via cash, card, or digital methods
Handle refunds or exchanges professionally
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Keep track of daily transactions and submit reports when needed
Follow all store policies and procedures
Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory when needed
Requirements:
Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required
Basic math and computer skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
