We are hiring a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized front counter area.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a warm and professional manner
Take customer orders accurately and input them into the POS system
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order processing
Address customer inquiries or complaints politely and efficiently
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or café
Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
Good communication and customer service skills
Honest, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy hours
Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
