Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Handyman for Private Portfolio
Overview
Seeking a dependable, all-around handyman to provide ongoing maintenance and repair services across a portfolio of about 40 residential properties. The role involves handling a variety of basic repairs, painting, and electrical issues as they arise and AC cleaning. Since the properties are well maintained, the workload is steady but not overwhelming. A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, paint touch-ups, and appliance fixes and AC servicing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical issues (e.g., switches, lights, sockets).
- Prepare surfaces and carry out interior and exterior painting projects as needed.
- Inspect properties to identify potential repair needs and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work meets health, safety, and quality standards.
- Restore vacated units back to good condition be it deep furniture cleaning or repainting
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in general maintenance, with skills in electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to safely operate the company vehicle.
- Good communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Physical ability to handle minor manual labor and use common hand and power tools.
