IRL.ae is a Dubai-based events and experience company specializing in LED video walls, LED dance floors, Glambot camera robots, and immersive event technology. We create high-end experiences for private, corporate, and large-scale productions across the UAE.
We are looking for a skilled LED Screen and AV Technician to join our growing team. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining LED display systems and AV equipment for live events and shows. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically proficient, and capable of troubleshooting under pressure.
Your day-to-day work will include assembling, installing, and dismantling LED video walls and dance floors, configuring panels and processors (NovaStar, Lisn, Colorlight, or similar), managing video signal routing, cabling, and power distribution, and operating AV systems such as mixers, lighting controllers, and media servers. You’ll troubleshoot equipment during events, coordinate with designers and editors for smooth playback, handle on-site logistics, and maintain accurate inventory and maintenance records — all while following strict safety protocols.
Applicants should have 2–3 years of experience as an LED or AV Technician in the events or live production industry, with a strong understanding of LED technologies, signal flow (HDMI, SDI, CAT6, fiber), and media playback software such as Resolume or Watchout. The ability to read technical drawings, communicate clearly in English, and work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) is essential. A UAE driving license is preferred.
A Diploma or certification in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field is advantageous. Strong skills in LED wall configuration, AV setup and troubleshooting, electrical and signal management, cable organization, and team coordination are required.
