Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and responsible Live-in Home Teacher with a UAE driver’s license for an immediate start in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi. This multifaceted role combines educational support, transportation, and house management duties. The ideal candidate will provide academic guidance to our primary and secondary school-aged children, manage school transportation, and oversee household and personal assistant tasks while the children are at school.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Support:
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans for subjects including English, Math, Science, Islamic Studies, and Arabic.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to support academic growth and understanding.
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering a love for learning and personal development.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with parents to set educational goals and track progress.
- Organize educational outings and activities to enhance learning experiences.
Transportation:
- Drive children to and from school and extracurricular activities safely and punctually.
*House Management and Personal Assistant Duties:*
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other household needs.
- Coordinate and supervise household maintenance and repairs.
- Manage household supplies and inventory, ensuring everything is well-stocked and organized.
- Liaise with service providers, contractors, and other household staff.
- Organize family schedules and appointments, ensuring efficient time management.
- Assist with travel arrangements and itinerary planning for family trips.
- Handle correspondence and manage communications on behalf of the family.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring primary and secondary school students.
- Valid UAE driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Patience, creativity, and a commitment to being a positive role model.
- Experience in household management or personal assistant roles is preferred.
